PULLCOVE SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last updated: 3 September 2026
1. OVERVIEW
PullCove is an Ireland-based retailer specialising in sealed trading card and collectible products, including sealed Japanese Pokémon products.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are prepared, dispatched and delivered within Ireland and internationally.
Because many products sold by PullCove are collectible and condition-sensitive, we take additional care when packing and shipping orders.
This Policy should be read together with our:
- Terms of Service;
- Refund, Returns, Damage & Collectible Condition Policy;
- Privacy Policy;
- and any specific terms displayed on a product or pre-order listing.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts any mandatory consumer right that applies to you.
Where applicable consumer law gives you greater rights than this Policy, the mandatory law will prevail.
2. WHERE PULLCOVE SHIPS FROM
PullCove operates from Ireland.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on a product listing, orders are dispatched from Ireland.
Products that PullCove imports from suppliers are inspected, received and processed by PullCove before being shipped to customers unless a listing expressly describes a different fulfilment arrangement.
PullCove does not ordinarily operate a dropshipping model for collectible products represented as being stocked by PullCove.
3. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS
PullCove may offer delivery to:
- the Republic of Ireland;
- Northern Ireland;
- Great Britain;
- other European countries;
- the United States;
- Canada;
- Australia;
- New Zealand;
- and other international destinations supported at checkout.
Available destinations may change.
If your country or region is not available during checkout, this normally means that PullCove does not currently offer delivery to that destination.
Customers should not intentionally enter a false country or delivery address to bypass geographical shipping restrictions.
4. SHIPPING SERVICES
Shipping options available for a particular order will ordinarily be displayed during checkout.
Depending on:
- destination;
- parcel value;
- parcel size;
- weight;
- product type;
- carrier availability;
- and insurance requirements,
PullCove may use postal services or commercial couriers.
Where appropriate, we may require a more secure delivery method for higher-value collectible orders.
This can include:
- tracked delivery;
- insured delivery;
- signature on delivery;
- enhanced carrier tracking;
- identity or age verification where lawful and appropriate;
- or another secure delivery service.
The customer may not always be able to choose an untracked or lower-security service for high-value orders.
5. SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs will normally be calculated and displayed before you complete checkout.
Shipping rates may depend on:
- destination;
- parcel weight;
- parcel dimensions;
- shipping service;
- value of the goods;
- insurance;
- and carrier charges.
PullCove may occasionally offer:
- free shipping;
- discounted shipping;
- promotional shipping;
- or threshold-based free delivery.
Where a promotion applies, its particular terms will be displayed separately.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, shipping is not automatically free.
6. ORDER PROCESSING
Orders require processing before they are handed to the delivery carrier.
Processing can include:
- payment verification;
- fraud screening;
- inventory confirmation;
- product inspection;
- order picking;
- protective packaging;
- shipping-label preparation;
- and carrier collection.
The estimated delivery period shown to a customer does not necessarily mean that an order will be handed to a carrier immediately after payment.
However, PullCove will process orders without undue delay.
7. BUSINESS DAYS
Unless expressly stated otherwise, references to business days exclude:
- Saturdays;
- Sundays;
- Irish public holidays;
- and days on which relevant carriers are not normally operating.
Orders placed during weekends or public holidays may therefore begin processing on the next business day.
8. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES
Estimated delivery times may be shown:
- on the product page;
- during checkout;
- in an order confirmation;
- in a dispatch email;
- or through carrier tracking.
Delivery times are estimates unless PullCove expressly states that a particular delivery date is guaranteed.
Actual transit times may be affected by matters including:
- carrier volumes;
- weather;
- customs;
- local postal networks;
- public holidays;
- strikes;
- transport disruption;
- remote delivery locations;
- security checks;
- and other events outside PullCove's reasonable control.
However, estimated delivery wording does not remove any statutory delivery rights.
9. IRISH DELIVERY RIGHTS
For Irish consumer sales, where a particular delivery date has been agreed, goods should be delivered by that date.
Where no specific delivery date has been agreed, Irish consumer rules generally require delivery without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded, subject to the circumstances and any different delivery agreement.
Where goods are not delivered within the legally applicable period, customers may have rights to require delivery within an additional appropriate period and, in qualifying circumstances, cancel the contract and obtain a refund.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy reduces those rights.
10. PRE-ORDERS
Pre-order products are different from products already available for immediate dispatch.
A pre-order listing may contain an:
- expected release date;
- expected supplier dispatch date;
- expected PullCove arrival date;
- or expected customer-dispatch period.
Unless expressly guaranteed, these dates are estimates.
Pre-order delays may occur because of:
- manufacturer release changes;
- distributor delays;
- stock allocations;
- international freight;
- customs clearance;
- supplier delays;
- or other matters outside PullCove's reasonable control.
Where PullCove receives a pre-order later than expected, we will aim to dispatch customer orders as soon as reasonably possible after stock arrives, has been counted and has passed our inspection procedures.
Mandatory cancellation and delivery rights remain unaffected.
11. MIXED ORDERS CONTAINING PRE-ORDER AND IN-STOCK PRODUCTS
Where an order contains both:
- in-stock products; and
- pre-order products,
PullCove may hold the entire order until all products are available unless the checkout, product listing or customer communication states otherwise.
Alternatively, PullCove may split an order into multiple shipments.
Where additional shipping charges would be required for a customer-requested split shipment, we will inform the customer before charging those additional costs.
12. HOW PULLCOVE PACKS COLLECTIBLES
Collectible condition matters.
PullCove therefore aims to package orders using protection appropriate to:
- the product;
- its size;
- its weight;
- its value;
- and its condition sensitivity.
Depending on the order, protective packaging may include:
- shipping cartons;
- bubble protection;
- cushioning material;
- protective sleeves;
- void fill;
- box protection;
- or other suitable packaging materials.
Our goal is to reduce unnecessary movement and provide reasonable protection during normal carrier handling.
13. PRE-DISPATCH PRODUCT CHECKS
Where reasonably practical, PullCove may inspect sealed collectible products before dispatch.
Inspection may include checking:
- the correct product has been selected;
- quantity;
- obvious packaging damage;
- factory seal condition;
- external box condition;
- and general order accuracy.
PullCove may also maintain fulfilment evidence for higher-value or selected shipments.
This can include:
- packing photographs;
- product photographs;
- packing video;
- package weights;
- shipping labels;
- carrier records;
- order records;
- or other fulfilment information.
These measures are intended to protect both customers and PullCove in the event of a delivery dispute.
14. TRACKING INFORMATION
Where tracking is included with the shipping service, customers will normally receive tracking information after dispatch.
Tracking may not become active immediately.
A carrier may need several hours, or occasionally longer, to perform its first physical scan.
Customers should therefore allow reasonable time before reporting newly issued tracking as inactive.
15. TRACKING ESTIMATES
Carrier tracking systems are operated by third parties.
Tracking information can sometimes:
- update late;
- skip scans;
- incorrectly estimate a delivery date;
- show customs processing;
- or appear inactive while the parcel is moving through a network.
A temporary lack of tracking movement does not necessarily mean a parcel is lost.
Where a shipment appears unusually delayed, PullCove may investigate with the carrier.
16. RISK DURING DELIVERY
Where PullCove arranges delivery to an Irish consumer using a carrier offered or selected by PullCove, the goods generally remain PullCove's responsibility until the customer, or a person designated by the customer, takes physical possession of them.
Simply handing the parcel to our courier does not automatically transfer the risk of loss or transit damage to the customer.
The CCPC similarly states that the business remains responsible for ensuring customers receive their goods even when the business uses a separate courier.
Different rules may apply where a customer independently commissions a carrier that PullCove did not offer.
For customers elsewhere, risk will transfer in accordance with applicable mandatory law and the circumstances of delivery.
17. DELIVERY TO SOMEONE NOMINATED BY THE CUSTOMER
Where a customer expressly instructs that an order may be delivered to another person or delivery location, delivery to that authorised recipient or location may constitute delivery where permitted by law.
Examples can include:
- another household member;
- workplace reception;
- parcel collection point;
- authorised neighbour;
- concierge;
- reception desk;
- or another recipient specifically nominated by the customer.
Customers should therefore carefully consider any delivery instructions they give to the carrier.
18. SAFE-PLACE DELIVERY
Some carriers allow customers to independently request that a parcel be:
- left in a safe place;
- left outside a property;
- delivered to a neighbour;
- redirected;
- or delivered without signature.
Customers should understand that authorising an unattended delivery may affect how a later loss claim is investigated.
Where PullCove has required signature or another secure delivery method because of the value of the order, we may restrict safe-place delivery where the carrier allows us to do so.
Nothing in this section removes a mandatory legal right.
19. CUSTOMER DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS
Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery instructions provided to PullCove or directly to a carrier are:
- accurate;
- safe;
- lawful;
- and appropriate.
PullCove cannot guarantee that every carrier will comply with special instructions.
Carrier systems may also limit which delivery instructions can be accepted.
20. ACCURATE SHIPPING ADDRESS
Customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address.
Before completing checkout, check:
- recipient name;
- house/building number;
- street;
- apartment or unit number;
- town/city;
- county/state;
- Eircode/postcode/ZIP code;
- country;
- and any other relevant information.
PullCove is not responsible for an address being incorrect solely because the customer entered incorrect information.
However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist where possible.
21. ADDRESS CHANGES BEFORE DISPATCH
If you notice an incorrect delivery address, contact:
as quickly as possible.
Where fulfilment has not begun, we may be able to update the address.
However, address changes cannot be guaranteed after an order has been placed.
For fraud-prevention reasons, PullCove may decline a request to change an address substantially after payment.
We may instead cancel the unfulfilled order and ask the customer to place a new order using the correct details where appropriate.
22. ADDRESS CHANGES AFTER DISPATCH
Once an order has been dispatched, PullCove may be unable to change the delivery address.
Some carriers offer recipient-controlled redirection services.
Any redirection should be made only through the legitimate carrier system.
Where a customer independently redirects a parcel after dispatch, that redirection may be considered when investigating subsequent delivery disputes.
23. PARCEL FORWARDING AND FREIGHT-FORWARDING SERVICES
Customers may sometimes choose to have products delivered to a:
- freight forwarder;
- parcel forwarding company;
- reshipping service;
- hotel;
- commercial mailroom;
- export service;
- or other third-party receiving service.
Customers should use such services carefully.
Where PullCove correctly delivers the parcel to a third-party recipient specifically designated by the customer, subsequent handling by that independent third party may fall outside PullCove's control, subject always to applicable law.
PullCove may request evidence from the forwarding service where damage, loss or substitution is alleged after onward shipment.
24. UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESSES
If a carrier determines that an address is:
- incomplete;
- incorrect;
- inaccessible;
- abandoned;
- unknown;
- or otherwise undeliverable,
the parcel may be returned to PullCove.
Where the problem was caused by incorrect customer-supplied information, PullCove may require payment of reasonable additional shipping costs before resending the order, where permitted by law.
Alternatively, where a refund is appropriate, genuine unrecoverable delivery or return costs may be deducted from a voluntary refund where legally permitted.
25. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
Carriers may attempt delivery more than once or redirect a parcel to a collection point.
Customers are responsible for:
- monitoring tracking;
- responding to genuine carrier notifications;
- and collecting the parcel within the carrier's collection period where reasonably possible.
If a parcel is returned because it was not collected, reasonable reshipping costs may apply where permitted by law.
26. DELIVERY SIGNATURES
PullCove may require a signature for certain shipments.
A signature requirement is particularly likely for:
- higher-value orders;
- large orders;
- destinations with elevated delivery risk;
- or orders selected for additional fraud protection.
The carrier's signature record may be considered as evidence of delivery.
However, no single carrier record will automatically override mandatory consumer law or conclusive evidence showing that the delivery was not properly completed.
27. HIGH-VALUE ORDERS
PullCove may apply additional shipping precautions to high-value collectible orders.
These may include:
- enhanced tracking;
- signature requirements;
- insured delivery;
- additional fraud checks;
- additional packing protection;
- pre-dispatch photographs;
- recorded package weights;
- tamper-evident packaging;
- restricted redirection;
- or other reasonable security procedures.
These procedures protect both customers and PullCove.
28. PACKAGE WEIGHT RECORDS
Carrier or fulfilment systems may record the weight of a shipment.
Where a customer alleges that products were missing from an order, PullCove may compare:
- the expected shipment weight;
- pre-dispatch weight;
- carrier acceptance weight;
- returned parcel weight;
- and other fulfilment evidence.
Package weight is one form of evidence and will be considered together with other relevant information.
29. INSURANCE
PullCove may purchase shipping insurance or use carrier services containing limited liability protection.
Shipping insurance arranged by PullCove does not reduce a consumer's legal rights against PullCove.
Customers are not normally required to pursue PullCove's insurer themselves.
Where a carrier or insurer requires customer cooperation with a genuine claim, we may ask the customer to provide reasonable information or evidence.
30. DAMAGED PARCELS
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, we strongly recommend that you:
- do not immediately open it off-camera;
- photograph all sides of the unopened parcel;
- photograph the shipping label;
- photograph dents, tears, holes, water damage or tampering;
- keep all packaging;
- record the opening where reasonably possible;
- inspect the collectible products carefully;
- and contact PullCove promptly if the contents are damaged.
Please do not discard the outer carton or protective materials while a damage claim is under investigation.
31. COLLECTIBLE UNBOXING RECORDING
For collectible shipments, particularly higher-value orders, PullCove strongly recommends recording the first opening of the parcel.
For maximum evidential value, begin with the completely unopened shipping parcel.
We recommend placing a handwritten piece of paper beside the parcel showing:
Customer name
PullCove order number
Current date
Where an order-specific verification code has been supplied by PullCove, include that code where reasonably possible.
Show:
- every side of the unopened parcel;
- shipping label;
- tape and parcel seals;
- any existing damage;
- the opening of the shipping parcel;
- internal protective material;
- and each collectible after removal.
Ideally, record the procedure in one continuous video without unexplained cuts.
Keep the original file.
Full evidence requirements and safeguards are set out in our Refund, Returns, Damage & Collectible Condition Policy.
32. NO VIDEO DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY REMOVE LEGAL RIGHTS
An unboxing recording can considerably assist in resolving a damage or missing-item dispute.
However, failure to record an unboxing does not automatically remove any statutory consumer right.
Where mandatory law places a burden on PullCove, we will not use this Policy to improperly transfer that burden to the customer.
We will assess all available evidence fairly.
33. REPORTING TRANSIT DAMAGE
Customers should notify PullCove of suspected transit damage as soon as reasonably possible.
For carrier-related damage, we ask customers, where practical, to contact us within 48 hours after delivery.
Prompt notification helps us:
- investigate carrier handling;
- preserve evidence;
- check tracking information;
- and comply with carrier insurance deadlines.
The 48-hour request is an administrative and evidence procedure.
It does not shorten a statutory consumer remedy or legally applicable claim period.
34. EVIDENCE OF SHIPPING DAMAGE
Depending on the circumstances, PullCove may request:
- order number;
- photographs of the parcel;
- photograph of the shipping label;
- photographs of the parcel seals;
- photographs of damaged external packaging;
- photographs of internal packing materials;
- photographs of the collectible;
- photographs of factory seals;
- close-up photographs of damage;
- an original unboxing video where available;
- carrier correspondence;
- or other reasonable evidence.
We may not require every item for every claim.
35. LOST PARCELS
A parcel may occasionally become delayed or lost in the carrier network.
If tracking has not progressed for an unusual period, contact PullCove.
We may first investigate with the carrier before declaring a parcel lost.
Carrier investigations can take time because the carrier may need to:
- search depots;
- contact delivery staff;
- verify tracking;
- examine scan records;
- or investigate customs movement.
For Irish consumer purchases, the business remains responsible for ensuring the customer receives the order, and the CCPC states that if a parcel is lost or damaged in transit the business should provide the appropriate remedy.
36. “DELIVERED” BUT NOT RECEIVED
If tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate the parcel:
- check the immediate delivery area;
- check with household members;
- check any authorised safe place;
- check with reception or concierge staff where applicable;
- check with neighbours if your carrier may have delivered there;
- review any carrier delivery photograph;
- and contact PullCove promptly if the parcel remains missing.
PullCove may open an investigation with the carrier.
37. INVESTIGATING A DISPUTED DELIVERY
Where a customer reports that tracking shows delivery but the parcel was not received, PullCove may review relevant evidence.
Depending on availability, this can include:
- delivery scans;
- carrier tracking;
- delivery photograph;
- signature;
- recorded delivery location;
- carrier GPS data;
- delivery time;
- customer-authorised safe-place instructions;
- concierge or reception delivery;
- parcel weight;
- carrier statements;
- and customer information.
No single piece of evidence is automatically decisive in every case.
Claims will be assessed based on the circumstances and applicable law.
38. SUSPECTED PACKAGE THEFT
If evidence indicates that a package may have been stolen after delivery, PullCove may ask the customer to cooperate with reasonable investigative steps.
For high-value orders this may include, where appropriate:
- completing a carrier declaration;
- confirming details in writing;
- cooperating with an insurer;
- or obtaining a police incident reference where theft is genuinely suspected.
We will not impose unnecessary police-report requirements merely to frustrate legitimate consumer claims.
39. FALSE NON-DELIVERY CLAIMS
Customers must not knowingly report an order as not received when it was actually received.
PullCove may investigate suspected false non-delivery claims using legitimate evidence including:
- tracking;
- signatures;
- delivery photographs;
- carrier location data;
- correspondence;
- carrier investigations;
- customer instructions;
- or other available evidence.
Where there is objective evidence of fraud, PullCove may provide relevant information to:
- the carrier;
- payment provider;
- insurer;
- fraud-prevention provider;
- marketplace;
- or competent authorities,
where lawful and appropriate.
This section does not restrict genuine claims.
40. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International delivery is subject to the transportation, customs and import requirements of the destination country.
International shipments may take longer than domestic shipments because parcels can pass through:
- export processing;
- airline or road transport;
- destination customs;
- import processing;
- local postal or courier networks;
- and final-mile delivery.
Customs processing times are outside PullCove's direct control.
41. EUROPEAN UNION DELIVERIES
Where goods are shipped from PullCove in Ireland to another EU Member State, ordinary customs import duties generally do not apply simply because goods cross an internal EU border.
Other tax or regulatory rules may nevertheless apply depending on the transaction and product.
Applicable taxes will be handled in accordance with the relevant rules.
42. UNITED KINGDOM DELIVERIES
The United Kingdom has different customs arrangements from EU Member States.
Orders sent from Ireland to parts of the United Kingdom may be subject to destination-specific:
- VAT treatment;
- customs procedures;
- import duties;
- carrier handling fees;
- or other charges,
depending on the value, destination and way the order is processed.
Where PullCove collects applicable taxes or duties at checkout, this should be indicated during the purchase process.
Where charges are not collected at checkout, the recipient may be required to pay them before delivery where permitted by applicable law.
43. UNITED STATES AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS
Customers outside Ireland and the European Union may be subject to:
- import taxes;
- customs duty;
- sales or use taxes;
- brokerage fees;
- carrier administration charges;
- local import fees;
- or other destination charges.
The applicable rules vary considerably between countries.
Customers should review applicable import rules before purchasing.
Where PullCove collects duties and taxes at checkout, the checkout should indicate this.
Where they are not collected, charges may instead be collected by customs or the carrier before delivery.
44. DUTIES AND TAXES AT CHECKOUT
PullCove may use Shopify or another service capable of collecting destination taxes or duties during checkout.
If checkout expressly states that relevant import charges have been collected, those charges will be handled through the applicable system.
If checkout indicates that duties or taxes are not included, customers should be prepared for possible destination charges on delivery.
We will not knowingly represent duties as prepaid where they have not been prepaid.
45. CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS
PullCove will make reasonable efforts to complete customs declarations accurately.
We will not deliberately:
- undervalue goods;
- falsely describe merchandise;
- mark a commercial order as a gift merely to avoid tax;
- or falsify customs information
at a customer's request.
Customers should not ask PullCove to declare an artificially low value to evade tax or customs duty.
46. CUSTOMS DELAYS
Customs authorities operate independently from PullCove.
An international parcel may occasionally be held for:
- inspection;
- documentation checks;
- valuation checks;
- tax assessment;
- security checks;
- or another customs procedure.
A customs hold does not necessarily mean the parcel is lost.
PullCove will provide reasonable assistance where information from the sender is genuinely required.
47. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY FOR IMPORT PERMISSION
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the products ordered can legally be imported, possessed and delivered in the destination country.
Trading card products are generally widely shippable, but laws and import procedures can change.
PullCove may cancel an order before dispatch if we discover that we cannot lawfully or reliably ship the product to the requested destination.
Any applicable refund will then be issued.
48. REFUSING CUSTOMS OR IMPORT CHARGES
Where customs, import VAT, duty or carrier fees were properly disclosed as being payable by the recipient, refusing to pay them may cause the parcel to be:
- held;
- destroyed;
- abandoned;
- or returned to PullCove.
Customers should contact PullCove before refusing an international shipment.
Where a parcel is returned because the recipient refused properly disclosed import charges, PullCove may, where legally permitted, deduct genuine unrecoverable:
- outbound postage;
- return postage;
- customs charges;
- carrier fees;
- or other direct costs
from a voluntary refund.
We will not impose arbitrary penalties.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
49. ABANDONED INTERNATIONAL PARCELS
In some countries, customs authorities or carriers may destroy or abandon an unclaimed parcel rather than return it.
Customers should therefore monitor international tracking and respond promptly to genuine customs or carrier requests.
PullCove cannot guarantee recovery of an international parcel that has been lawfully destroyed or abandoned because a customer failed to complete a required import procedure.
Any customer rights will nevertheless be determined in accordance with applicable law and the particular circumstances.
50. CUSTOMS OPENING OR INSPECTION
Customs or border authorities may have legal power to open a parcel for inspection.
If a shipment appears to have been opened by customs, retain:
- official inspection tape;
- labels;
- customs notices;
- packaging;
- and any relevant paperwork.
If the collectible itself appears damaged or its factory seal has been affected, photograph everything before taking further action and contact PullCove.
51. SPLIT SHIPMENTS
PullCove may sometimes divide one order into multiple parcels.
This may occur because of:
- product size;
- product availability;
- carrier restrictions;
- security;
- warehouse processing;
- or shipping efficiency.
Where an order is split, customers may receive more than one tracking number.
Receiving one parcel does not necessarily mean the entire order has been delivered.
52. PARTIAL DELIVERIES
If you believe only part of your order was delivered, first check whether the order was split into multiple shipments.
If it was not, contact:
Retain the parcel and all packaging.
Photographs and an unboxing recording, if available, can be particularly helpful in establishing what was received.
53. WEATHER AND OTHER DISRUPTION
Deliveries may occasionally be affected by extraordinary events including:
- severe weather;
- flooding;
- storms;
- natural disasters;
- transport strikes;
- air-traffic disruption;
- conflict;
- customs disruption;
- major network failures;
- or emergency government measures.
Where such circumstances occur, PullCove will aim to communicate material delays where reasonably practical.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
54. DELIVERY DURING PEAK PERIODS
Carrier networks can experience higher volumes around:
- Christmas;
- Black Friday;
- major Pokémon releases;
- public holidays;
- promotional events;
- and other peak retail periods.
Customers should allow additional time when ordering for a specific occasion.
Where a delivery date is critical, customers should select an appropriate available service and contact PullCove before purchasing where necessary.
55. RELEASE-DAY DELIVERY
A product release date does not automatically mean that PullCove guarantees delivery to the customer's address on that exact date.
Where stock arrives before release and the manufacturer or distributor permits dispatch, PullCove may attempt to dispatch in time for release.
Unless a listing explicitly states guaranteed release-day delivery, release dates should not be interpreted as guaranteed customer-delivery dates.
56. SHIPPING DAMAGE TO THE OUTER MAILER ONLY
Shipping cartons and mailing materials are designed to absorb normal transit handling.
Damage solely to the disposable shipping carton does not necessarily mean that the collectible itself is damaged.
Collectible damage claims will therefore normally consider the condition of the product purchased.
However, customers should still document significant external parcel damage because it may be relevant evidence if the product inside is also damaged.
57. MINOR COLLECTIBLE PACKAGING VARIATIONS
Normal factory or distribution characteristics are not automatically shipping damage.
These may include minor:
- wrap variation;
- tiny marks;
- shrink-wrap seams;
- minor print characteristics;
- or slight packaging variation.
Material transit damage may include:
- substantial crushing;
- severe dents;
- punctures;
- water damage;
- significant tears;
- broken factory seals;
- or other meaningful damage to collectible condition.
Each claim will be assessed according to its circumstances.
58. CARRIER CLAIMS
PullCove may need to make a claim against a carrier or shipping insurer where a parcel is:
- lost;
- damaged;
- incorrectly delivered;
- or otherwise mishandled.
Customers may be asked to cooperate reasonably by supplying:
- photographs;
- declarations;
- packaging;
- video;
- or other evidence.
The existence of a carrier claim does not remove PullCove's own statutory obligations to the customer.
59. DO NOT DISCARD DAMAGED PACKAGING
A carrier or insurer may require inspection of packaging.
For this reason, if damage is alleged, retain:
- the shipping carton;
- mailing bag;
- labels;
- tape;
- protective packaging;
- inserts;
- and the damaged collectible
until PullCove confirms that they are no longer required for the investigation.
60. RETURNS ARE COVERED SEPARATELY
This Policy principally concerns delivery of orders to customers.
Returns to PullCove are governed by our:
Refund, Returns, Damage & Collectible Condition Policy [LINK]
That policy includes additional requirements concerning:
- return authorisation;
- collectible condition;
- factory seals;
- protective packaging;
- tracked returns;
- return inspections;
- substitution;
- fraudulent claims;
- and diminished value.
61. FRAUD PREVENTION AND SHIPPING
PullCove may apply reasonable fraud-prevention procedures to shipments.
Depending on risk, we may:
- verify payment;
- review unusual orders;
- require stronger delivery methods;
- restrict address changes;
- require signature;
- photograph a package;
- record parcel weight;
- use tamper-evident packaging;
- or cancel an unaccepted high-risk transaction and issue a refund.
These measures exist to protect both genuine customers and PullCove.
62. ORDERS TO HIGH-RISK DESTINATIONS
PullCove may decline to ship to a particular:
- location;
- forwarding service;
- parcel depot;
- PO box;
- territory;
- or destination
where reliable tracked delivery is not reasonably available or where there is a significant legal, carrier or fraud risk.
Any such restriction will be applied before dispatch wherever possible.
If an order cannot be fulfilled, an appropriate refund will be issued.
63. PO BOXES AND PARCEL LOCKERS
Some carriers cannot deliver:
- to PO boxes;
- parcel lockers;
- military addresses;
- or certain collection services.
Availability will depend on the shipping service selected.
If an address cannot be serviced by the selected carrier, PullCove may contact the customer for an alternative address.
64. CUSTOMER CONTACT DETAILS
Customers should provide an accurate:
- email address;
- and, where requested during checkout, telephone number
so that delivery notifications can be provided.
A telephone number may sometimes be required by international carriers or customs authorities for delivery purposes.
PullCove will process these details in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
65. DELIVERY EMAILS AND SCAMS
Customers should be cautious about fraudulent SMS messages and emails pretending to be delivery companies.
PullCove will never ask a customer to send passwords or complete payment-card details by ordinary email.
If you receive a suspicious message concerning a PullCove delivery, verify tracking through the legitimate carrier website or contact PullCove.
66. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS
PullCove may temporarily stop shipping to destinations affected by:
- sanctions;
- war;
- carrier suspension;
- import restrictions;
- severe disruption;
- legal restrictions;
- or an inability to provide reliable delivery.
Available destinations shown at checkout may therefore change without notice.
67. OWNERSHIP AND DELIVERY
Ownership, risk and delivery are distinct legal concepts.
Nothing in this Policy should be interpreted as saying that PullCove escapes responsibility merely by creating a shipping label or handing a parcel to a courier.
For consumer orders, responsibility for delivery will be determined according to applicable consumer law.
68. BUSINESS CUSTOMERS
A purchaser acting wholly or mainly for trade, resale or business purposes may not have the same statutory rights as a consumer.
Where PullCove enters into a separate business-to-business transaction, additional commercial shipping terms may apply.
Unless separate terms are expressly agreed, this Shipping Policy provides the general operational framework.
69. MANDATORY LOCAL LAW
PullCove sells internationally, but consumer and delivery laws differ between countries.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to remove a mandatory right applicable in:
- Ireland;
- another EU Member State;
- the United Kingdom;
- the United States;
- Canada;
- Australia;
- or another destination.
Where a mandatory local rule conflicts with this Policy, that mandatory rule will apply to the extent required.
70. CHANGES TO THIS SHIPPING POLICY
PullCove may update this Shipping Policy as our:
- carriers;
- shipping destinations;
